As I stand here, with my rear leg in a state of internal rotation, and then coil my rear hip rearward to the point that I feel external rotation in my foot at the ground.....Wellphyt says....
Anatomically....you can not have two active body segments that attach to each other at the same joint. You can't have the rear hip fighting the rear leg.

The swing is pitiful....for multiple reasons.....listed above. His attempt to cover his ass by saying that.....is simply to deflect from the weight shift problem, the arm push problem, the flatten then swing problem etc etc etc
And btw, anyone who does the move....will have a weight shift problem. They will shift then swing.
I challenge anyone who teaches the move to produce a clip of them or their student, doing the move, and NOT shfiting then swinging.
