WHO are you going to listen to?
Ask jbooth for clips of himself or a student. He won't give you any. Because he can not match the high level pattern. All he can do is spew garbage from his pie hole.
Here are a few who follow what I teach....
You are me 12 years ago. I just wanted the right information to teach my sons. You just want good information to teach your daughter. The internet is FULL of hitting nonsense. NO ONE at dfp has EVER produced a video match of the high level pattern. That's why NONE OF THEM will produce a clip of their work.
Use your bleeeping head when choosing who to listen to.
P.S. Everyone of my students do what jbooth says no one does.....which is turn the barrel as demonstrated by me above.

Do you really think jbooth has your interest at heart when he makes that statement with the Hamilton clip right before his and your eyes?
Or is he defending his snake oil and ego?
Snake oil that he is so proud of that he REFUSES to post a clip of a student of his.

I still haven't seen you ask the question that should be the most important question for you....it should be the #1 question on your list....as you converse with advise giving posters.
"May I have a clip of one of your students?"
Nothing else matters until you get that. Nothing they say has any credibility until you get that.
What is 'barrel turn'? What is a 'corner'? What is this? What is that? Great questions.....BUT....you have no ability to determine if the answers given are correct. Your cart is leading your horse. You don't have the data needed to analyze the answers.
You continue to ask other questions....that get multiple answers....and you remain confused....answerless.
Is that your goal?
If you had a clip of one of their students, you could quickly determine if the answers you were getting were accurate. All you would have to do is put that clip side by side with a high level hitter. If you don't have that capability....I do. I'll do it for you. I'll even put their hitter and one of my hitters side by side with the high level hitter and I'll point out the differences.....which become quite obvious.

Hitter on the left....big strong kid who can't find the pattern. Has some success at his level (high school). But can't match Pujols or my student on the right. His days are numbered because the pitching gets too good for his out front push swing. Pujols and my student turn the barrel and create batspeed behind them....deep. It's clear....with video.
Are you trying to learn or not?
If they won't give you a clip....discard everything they say....pay zero attention to them....and move on to the next guy.
Seriously.....there is a very systematic way of learning who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't. And you are going about it in such a way that a year from now, you still won't know anything.....except people argue on the internet. You will have no basis on which to move forward.
If you won't ask the question....and demand the answer.......
