Do you know where FiveFrameNoSwing has NEVER seen a swing this good? He has never seen a swing like this from a student of his.

This is QUITE good.

It is OUTSTANDING for a 10 yr old.

She will get better as she grows and develops.

As she wants to hit the ball harder....she'll develop some rhythm and that rhythm will load her better. The phrase 'walking away from the hands' is not a good explanation of what hitters do. They coil around their rear hip. They pull back with their lower back. The clampdown....or pinch....their scap to their spine. And THAT will move the hands a bit. But to teach 'walk away from the hands'.....is pitiful instruction.

I say.....stay the course. Hit hit hit hit. Ask her to 'pull back with her lower back'.....'back' as in to help keep a coil....constantly....and continuously as she swings. The lower rear back twists....rearward....and holds that position all the way through the swing....until follow through. That LOADS her rear leg. Her leg should internally rotate....or try to....against that lower back action. A twisted stretch occurs up her back side....from her rear hip socket up. (NOT UP THE SPINE....up the rear side of her body) And then....TURN THE BARREL REARWARD....suddenly....with the hands/forearms....and that twisted load will unload with great force....AS LONG AS....the barrel is turned rearward into autopilot. Autopilot means....it's launched immediately....it's on its own....as the barrel flys around the arc. The energy needed to send the barrel into a rearward arc happens IMMEDIATELY....and is SPENT immediately. It flys around the back of the arc 'on it's own'....just like the door that you sling to a slam.

Your daughter has great potential. She resembles....and can get close to this great swing very quickly.
