Swingbuilder told me that he taught Richard the stuff about the barrel turn and resistance.
Totally absurd.
And the evidence proves it.
Yes....I've heard Swingbuilder talk about resistance.....FRONT SIDE RESISTANCE....that each and everyone of his hitters PUSH THEIR BARREL THROUGH.....
And....because of that forward push through front side resistance.....NONE OF HIS HITTERS TURN THEIR BARREL.
You don't see ANY of that nonsense, that I supposedly got from Swingruiner at HI.com.
You never have seen it on HI.com....not even back to Dec '06 when the site opened....nor any time since.
Not even back to my initial Second Engine post at Shawn's site.
And in fact....when the guy finally realized....that what I had been talking about all that time....that he whole heartedly supported....WAS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT HE BELIEVED....AND HAD ALWAYS BELIEVED....he made a fool of himself on the site....and left.
The REAL QUESTION....is his IQ. How can you be on a site for 4 years or so....PROMOTE THE SITE AS IT BEING THE GREATEST EVER.....all while I'm teaching EXACTLY what I still teach now....and not know it is/was different than what he believed.
It all started with the 'top of the bottom' versus 'the bottom of the top'. When it became clear to me that the hips were the bottom of the top...and provided REAR SIDE RESISTANCE....that to this day he doesn't understand....well....he does....but he won't admit it.....and his arrogant ego won't let him mea culpa.
You see....he is NOTHING....without me. He doesn't have the 'faculties' to teach it.
But he keeps trying to get back on my good side. Keeps asking for my advice.
Wonder why?
All it takes is honesty. A mea culpa.
The day after I had my epiphany I called Swingruiner to ask if what I had just experienced was what he was talking about? He always said 'hips and hands'. So, I explained to him EXACTLY what I had written at Shawn's site....and he said YES that is what he meant....yet.....4 years later....after realizing that what I explained included breaking away from REAR SIDE RESISTANCE....not....PUSHING INTO/THROUGH FRONT SIDE RESISTANCE....he disagreed.
You have to question his IQ....or his honesty. He spent 4 years on the site....promoting it as the best site out there....yet didn't know what was being taught.

....and was having some success getting kids to turn the barrel. I abandoned it because it is simply worthless without a quality instructor. You can use it wrong....and more likely will....and you can use it right. I wanted a 'no brainer' tool. Something you could sell someone and they'd find the pattern. This wasn't it. So....although I use it now and then WITH INSTRUCTION....I lost interest in it as a product to sell.
After he had his lunch handed to him on the site....he got butt hurt....and started telling everyone that I STOLE that thing from someone else....and wanted to take it to market as a hitting tool. I had long ago given up on it.
You see....there is nothing he won't do to cover his ass for his total lack of understanding of how rear side resistance MUST be used....for his embarrassment he absorbed when it became clear to everyone else that his hitters, who were demonstrating HIS VERSION of the SnF Drill....and HIS VERSION of the Barrel Turn drill....were failing miserably at it....and actually pushing the barrel. These were/are the same clips you see posted often by others.
SOLID EVIDENCE....that he didn't know what I was teaching.
The 'professional scout' didn't know what the hell he was talking about....others realized it....and he went on his rampage.
EGO.
I haven't changed what I teach since Sep '06.
He loved it.
Now hates it.
Yet....he claims he taught me the stuff I teach.
