Tex full swing....

Tex creates a corner................................then whips the barrel around the corner.

Amazing ignorance at bbf in the Corner thread. By BOTH those saying they do not understand and by those trying to explain.

The corner IS NOT the barrel path.

The corner is THE CAUSE of the barrel path.

The barrel path will help you determine if there was a corner....but it is NOT the corner.

Stretch a band.....release one end. Nice.
Stretch a band around a corner....release one end.....Super nice.

High level hitters stretch AROUND a corner to get a mechanical advantage.

The corner is created by the loading process. ALL great hitters use the corner to stretch around. The corner REQUIRES a stretch around ONE leg. Therefore....all hip rotatotion instructor's hitters....and....all 'the move' instructor's hitters....will NOT have a corner. NO high level hitters rotate their hips. NO high level hitters do 'the move'.

They create a corner....and then launch from behind that corner. if they don't launch FROM BEHIND the corner....they waste the corner. Why create it if you're going to waste it?

The proper use of that corner accelerates the barrel's QUICKNESS and SPEED to a level that hip rotation or 'the move's' push of the leg....can not come close to duplicating. The corner is created by stretching AROUND the rear leg.....such that....the rear leg's internal rotation is the DRIVER. A hip rotator does not use his rear leg as a driver. A 'mover' does not use internal rotation of the rear leg as it's driver. Therefore NEITHER have a corner. Therefore NEITHER are high level.
