OH what a popular word. I've even used it before. But I can't think of the last time I used it while instructing

It is TOTALLY MEANINGLESS in the high level swing.

Have you ever seen a hitter of THEIRS that does not disconnect?

Watch Engleberry on the right above. Why do his arms push forward like a mother near contact?

THE ROTATOR HIMSELF.....has to disconnect.

ANY hitter who rotates his hips HAS to disconnect or he will drag the bat.

Take the Epstein Deltoid drill into the cage....or a game....and JUST do the drill. THAT is what ROTATION will get you.

You'll immediately learn what REAL bat drag is.

Rotation ain't enough.

Ask yourself....WHEN....does the barrel begin to pivot about the hands?

Is it while the hands/barrel are still up and back?

Or is it later....after rotation has turned your hands forward....and ready to 'hook'? Or as you push like Engleberry does?

LMAO

Um....all of those rotators.....DISCONNECT. They HAVE TO. They either hook the hand path OR they push the barrel.

But they want you to think they don't.

Ask them to make a clip without the hook or push then.

TRUTH DETECTOR TEST......front and center.

Will ANY of them have the courage to post a clip?
