Does 'lead' mean 'go first'? Or be 'in front of'?
Can the hip lead and not go first?
Does the hip have to 'stay' in front?
How do you determine where and when things are happening?
Do you think you know the answer?
99% are wrong.

Teacherman started a blog post WHAT.....Do The Hips (better said 'hip'....singular) Lead?
Without a corner you will not whip.
Without a whip you will push the barrel forward with the arms.
If your hips 'go' first....you can not be high level.
But you've never duplicated it, have you?
Something else is moving the hips.
Something else is the first to 'go'.
I have to laugh at those who say 'the hips lead'....because they see them moving first.....yet....also say the hips resist rotation.
Read the message boards. Make a note of those who have said both the above.
Now....AVOID EVERYTHING THEY SAY ABOUT HITTING.
This girl's hip(s) don't lead either. Kent's do
They start first....but never lead. As a result she pushes the barrel forward.
After all the drills he posts....he can't get it right.
Garbage in.
Garbage out.
