NO NO NO.....you don't feel the lower go before release. The release is just that....THE RELEASE of the energy. If the lower goes before release you have a two move swing. The lower goes at launch.....when everything else goes. Up until then you feel the lower FIGHT to turn forward....against resistance pulling rearward.....WHICH MAINTAINS THE CORNER....even as the leg turns the assembly a bit.

It is a figment of their imagination if they think hitting the outside seam is a mistake. By their reasoning....ALL PULLED HITS....Home Runs....Doubles....all ropes.....are not wanted.
Ignorance is rampant. The ATTEMPT to hit the inside seam is excellent. The actual contact will be related to pitch location and timing.
If you actually hit the inside seam every time you swing....as in that is your goal....I'd LOVE to pitch to you.
