The best investment we made, besides our time and energy, was the creation of our "Home Hitting Lab".
It made working out convenient. All we had to do was go down to the basement. We could hit for 15 minutes, video the session, quit,
review the video, ponder the results, then go back down and try something new later the same night. This became the home of our
trial and error learning.
My son was not a "prospect". In fact, his skill level was a year or more behind his classmate's as he entered high school.
But, he wanted to be the best he could be. Our "Home Hitting Lab", combined with the internet, was instrumental in him
hitting .400 his senior year in high school.
